CURRENT CRIMINAL RECORD SEARCH, (conducted up to a maximum of six months prior to the Registration Committee meeting at which your file will be reviewed). A written verification from your local Police Department (at your expense), stating the results of your criminal record search. Bring the completed consent form to your local Police Department to have them perform a criminal record search.
Send the results of your completed Criminal Record Search directly to the Registration Committee, c/o BCACC Head Office at the address shown below.
***The criminal record check has a ‘shelf life’ of six months. In other words, it must be conducted no more than six months prior to the date of the Registration Committee meeting at which your file will be reviewed. Please note that it can take several weeks for the police to complete a criminal record search. To ensure your criminal record check arrives BY THE APPLICATION DEADLINE, we recommend that you bring your criminal record search form to the police AT LEAST ONE MONTH BEFORE THE APPLICATION DEADLINE.***
