Perfectionism – Skills for Mindful Living Series Vancouver
June 19, 2018 520 Seymour Street, Vancouver BC V6B 3J5 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM FREE
Presented by Elana Sures, MEd, RCC

Are you excessively hard on yourself? Is there a large discrepancy between your inner fears and your outer presentation?

What you will learn:

In this workshop, participants will come to understand the connections between perfectionism, shame, and self-doubt.

We will identify adaptive versus maladaptive presentations of perfectionism and look at various ways in which perfectionism can manifest itself.

We will explore how perfection can interfere with connection (to self and others), and ultimately lead to anxiety and depression if left unchecked.

The workshop will provide direction on how to intercept maladaptive perfectionism through fostering emotional awareness and self-compassion.
