The Laughing Heart: Humour & Human Connection

Presented by Kevin Kokoska, M.Ed., R.C.C.

One part presentation and one part performance, The Laughing Heart uses improvisational comedy to shed new light on a series of affective and interpersonal skills. Presenter Kevin Kokoska offers personal examples and practical takeaways from his foray into improv comedy and theatre, intersected with on-the-spot theatre scenes performed in tandem with a special guest improviser.

About the Presenter:

Kevin Kokoska, M.Ed., R.C.C., is a counsellor, performer, and teacher. He offers clinical counselling and consulting services through his private practice, Kokoska & Co., performs one-person plays about mental health, and teaches in the Family & Community Counselling program at Native Education College. His last name, loosely translated, means chicken.
