BCACC 2021 Virtual Conference – Call for Abstracts Open!
The BCACC Conference Committee welcomes individuals and teams from around the globe to submit for consideration abstracts for BCACC’s 2021 virtual conference. Submissions close on March 12, 2021.
From June 17-19, 2021. BCACC will bring together counsellors from around the world to discuss the many aspects of counselling in a rapidly changing world and globally connected communities. More than ever counsellors are needed to bring compassion, hope and resilience forward and to hold space for the challenges and grief we are all experiencing. Keynote speakers Dr. Dixon Chibanda and Dr. Kristin Neff will address these challenges with their signature brand of compassion and insights on community care.
Three conference streams link overarching themes: current and emerging psychotherapies, the changing nature of our relationships, and the global response to trauma and crisis.
We welcome submissions from presenters for:
Oral Presentations: Presenters will submit a 20 – 30 minute pre-recorded video of their presentation which will be viewed by attendees in advance of the conference. The Presenter will then be available on the day of the conference for a live 45-minute Q & A with conference attendees.
Lightning Presentations: Presenters will submit a 5 minute pre-recorded video of their presentation which will be viewed by attendees in advance of the conference. The Presenters will then be part of a “Lightning Talk Power Hour Panel” on the day of the conference – a 45-minute Q & A with conference attendees.
