About Cindy

I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families. I provide a safe therapeutic space without judgement while you learn, explore and develop strategies to enrich your life. My therapeutic approaches include; solution focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, exposure therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness strategies and trauma informed yoga. However, you will decide what works best for you. My ethics, value system and social justice are paramount to my work.
After experiencing trauma or violence, many people report feeling disconnected from their bodies. Some people even numb the connection intentionally, as a survival strategy. A trauma informed yoga class can be a safe, welcoming environment where people can begin to reconnect with their bodies.
