About Kasia
I help people live with more ease and well-being in the face of life’s challenges: stress, anxiety, depression, traumatic events, world events, illness, grief, loss, end-of-life, and more.
My main counselling approach is a collaborative and evidence-based approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Using ACT, my clients learn to manage difficult thoughts and feelings, develop a stronger sense of self, and engage in actions that take them towards a more fulfilling life. I also provide Exposure Therapy for anxieties and phobias, Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD and trauma, and CBT-i for insomnia.
I have special interest in supporting people with distress related to the climate crisis and extreme weather events, issues of mortality and end-of-life, and management of stress and burnout. And I love helping people experience personal growth, finding ways to live their lives with more confidence and vitality despite difficult circumstances.
