About Tammy

My speciality is relationship counselling and coaching. I am trained as a Family Mediator, a Counsellor and a Coach. I work with people to assist them to enhance their relationship skills in order to create more satisfying relationships with both themselves and others. I offer Couples Counselling, Discernment Counselling, and Individual Counselling.

The service I offer encourages you to differentiate between inside and outside skills. Outside skills are the ones that help you engage effectively with your outer environment. These are communication skills and conflict resolution skills. Inside skills are the ones that enable you to have a strong relationship with yourself. Do you have strong self awareness so you can choose your response with intention? Are you aware of what you are thinking, feeling and doing and not mixing these up with one another? How do you manage your emotional reactions, such as taking what your partner says personally? Can you coach and calm yourself so you can stay in the conversation or do you act from the emotion? Both inside and outside skills are necessary for strong relationships. When you work with me we are always strengthening both the relationship with yourself and your skills for being in satisfying relationships with others.
