In this presentation, participants will examine a range of therapeutic approaches to working with children with anxiety disorders and treatments.
The learning will be facilitated and explored from a range of theoretical perspectives, child client cases, and treatments.

About the Presenter:
Dr. Laleh Skrenes, RCC is a university professor and registered psychotherapist in Vancouver, who has been providing professional counselling, psychotherapy, and coaching to children, youth, adults and seniors in a variety of settings including private practice, mental health centers, and hospitals over the last 20 years.
Dr. Skrenes’ two decades of experience include service and experience as a volunteer to a broad spectrum of clients/patients in non-profit organizations, including visits to six First Nations communities in the Burns Lake area of Northern British Columbia, the Board of Directors of Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, member of Disaster Psychosocial Program and Ministry of Health, founder and facilitator of an EMDR cohort, and many others.
